We believe it is vital that we help encourage more young people to consider careers in science and engineering.
In the UK, for example, we run an innovative theatre-based schools roadshow, which is designed to challenge stereotypes about engineering and excite young people about it as a possible career destination. In 2006 over 13,000 young people saw the roadshow.
In the US, we are involved in a range of activities, including the LEGO FIRST (for Inspiration and Recognition of Science & Technology) program which is an international engineering based competition.
