BAE SYSTEMS is responsible for managing the operation of the Holston Army Ammunition Plant in Kingsport, Tennessee.
The government owned, company operated facility has about 200 people providing total management of all site activities involved in the production, handling and supply of high explosives to meet the requirements of the U.S. DoD.
BAE SYSTEMS has recently opened its market to several non-military customers, supplying the demands for industries such as oil exploration. The company is also responsible for warehousing, distribution, and packaging of the explosives, transportation management, and operation of an enhanced network system for data storage.
