Ordnance Solutions has a 25-year operating contract witht the U.S. Army at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant located at Kingsport, TN.
Four key elements of the contract include peacetime supply, replenishment, research and development, and facilities use. During peacetime, OS fulfills all requirements of the U.S. Army at a fixed price. Int imes of conflict, the facility stands ready to massively increase production to meet the Army's needs. OS's goal is to make the Holston site a Center of Excellence for explosives manufacturing and manufacturing processes. OS is also charged with reconfiguration of the site and development of commercial businesses at Holston that will generate more jobs for the community and the region.
