Amy Shevlin
Amy Shevlin is vice president of human resources for the Electronics & Integrated Solutions (E&IS) operating group of BAE Systems.
E&IS, with headquarters in Nashua, New Hampshire, is a major defense electronics business with more than 17,000 employees in 16 U.S. states, the United Kingdom, and Israel.
Prior to her current position, Shevlin was vice president of human resources for the company’s Network Systems business, where she supported the human resources needs of 4,500 employees at numerous sites across the U.S. and overseas. She also served as director of human resources for BAE Systems’ Information Warfare business. In addition, Shevlin managed the company’s human resources leadership development program from 2001 to 2005 for the Information and Electronic Warfare Systems business.
Shevlin has been a part of BAE Systems and its predecessor companies since 1994, working in staffing management, the U.S.-centered Recruiter Process Group, human resources management, and as a compensation representative. She began her human resources career with Digital Equipment Corporation in 1988.
Shevlin received a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, and a master’s degree in administrative studies and organizational policy from Boston University.
Amy and her husband, Robert, reside in Nashua, New Hampshire.
The E&IS group designs, develops, and manufactures a wide range of electronic systems and subsystems for military and commercial applications. E&IS offers products and integration services including electronic warfare and self-protection systems; surveillance and intelligence systems; platform systems; sensor and precision targeting systems; communication, navigation, identification, and reconnaissance systems; large-scale enterprise solutions and information management systems in support of the defense and intelligence communities; mission-specific software and geospatial exploitation products; advanced information technology; and rapid C4ISR prototyping, among others.
