BAE SYSTEMS Regional Aircraft Leases Three ATPs To Euroair Of Greece

BAE Systems Regional Aircraft has leased three 64-seat ATP passenger airliners to Euroair, one of Greeces leading air taxi, charter and cargo companies.

The first of the three aircraft (msn 2005) was delivered at the beginning of November. Delivery of the two remaining aircraft (msns 2006 and 2018) will take place over the next few months.

Euroair, which has been trading since 1995, plans to operate its first ATP on charter routes within Greece and potentially to other destinations throughout the Mediterranean, the Balkans and the Middle East.

The company also has plans to enter the Hellenic domestic scheduled passenger market.

The selection by Euroair of the ATP marks a resurgence of the type for passenger operations. Euroair becomes the third new operator of the ATP passenger airliner in the past year with Asian Spirit of the Philippines and Emerald Airways of the UK both also commencing ATP passenger operations.
