Dennis Morris
MINNEAPOLIS - BAE Systems has named Dennis Morris president of Armament Systems, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He will report directly to Linda Hudson, president of Land & Armaments in Arlington, Virginia.
Morris has been employed by BAE Systems since 1999 and was most recently Vice President, Mission Success at BAE Systems, Inc. Prior to that, he served as Vice President-Business Development, and later as a business unit Vice President & General Manager and Vice President-Corporate Development in the Technology Solutions Sector, now part of Customer Solutions Operating Group. Morris spent two years in Farnborough, UK, as the Vice President, International Marketing & UK Liaison.
Morris was a Program Manager with Strategic Management Initiatives, Inc. and worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton. Prior to his civilian career, Morris served in the U.S. Navy as a Department Head / Division Officer on the nuclear powered submarine USS San Francisco. He also served as an Aide to the Assistant Chief of Naval Operations, and following active duty, served and has since retired from the Naval Reserve.
Morris graduated from the University of Houston in 1983 with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and graduated from Georgetown University in 1997 with a Masters in Business Administration.
