ERF leverages ebusiness technology, like eXtensible Markup Languague (XML), to help the warfighter better manage critical intelligence in a collaborative process with geographically dispersed team members.
The ERF web application provides the next-generation graphical user interface for the Distributed Common Ground Systems-Navy (DCGS-N) variant and is the common “end user” presentation application. The application enables the user to create virtual, web-friendly packages of intelligence information, consisting of forms, text documents, notes, drawings, images, URL links, data from multiple legacy information systems and data from the DCGS integration backbone.
