AN/ALQ-144A countermeasures set
The U.S. Army/BAE Systems’ live fire-tested and combat-proven AN/ALQ-144A family of countermeasures sets are capable of defeating current and 1st/2nd generation infrared threats – bands I – IV. Proven during Desert Storm, Bosnia, Kosovo and numerous other operations, the ALQ-144A assures a high degree of mission survivability.
For those looking to the future IRCM – tomorrow is today. Together the ALQ-144A onboard jammer and offboard flares provide elevated levels of self-protection effectiveness. Excellent is the best description. The ALQ-144A and flares are complementary—together, their effectiveness against the myriad of old and new IR threats exceeds either individually.
