Defensive avionics receiver transmitter (DART)
Modern, highly lethal infrared heat-seeking missiles can attack from any direction during any phase of flight. DART, when linked with an appropriate missile warning system and multi-band laser, provides comprehensive protection against a multi-tier array of such threats. DART is also a multi-function precision acquisition, pointing and tracking unit. Following activation by the missile warner, the DART system will locate, track and defeat multiple threats with a single DART transmitter.
