- Special C2W system to provide area protection and support special missions; first delivered in 1981.
- Supports two squadrons of specially equipped C-130s that perform electronic combat/information warfare.
– Compass Call supports a crew of 13 people
– Includes transmit and receive antennas, signal acquisition, processing, DF and jamming functions - Used extensively to deny and disrupt enemy command and control links.
- BAE Systems is a major contributor to the Compass Call team.
