RG12
The RG12 is a 4x4 armoured vehicle with a gross vehicle mass between 10 300 to 12 500 kg depending on the role.
The all-steel, welded armour, monocoque hull protects the crew against small arms fire, firebombs and hand grenades. Designed initially as an anti-riot vehicle, the RG12 is readily adaptable to a variety of roles. In public order policing configuration, up to 12 fully equipped police officers can operate in the fully air-conditioned vehicle for extended periods. A variety of grenades, rifles and other weapons can be employed from inside the vehicle. There is also ample space for the accommodation of additional police equipment.
In combat role, the RG12 can be fitted with a Remote Weapon System (RWS) with calibers up to 12.7mm.
