The Autonomous Security Fencing System (ASFS) is an array of linked Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless sensors/receivers that creates an electronic security grid (fence) for protecting military facilities, buildings, aircraft, runways, parking aprons, and storage areas by intercepting and tracking intruders. These low cost sensors are the size of a small transistor radio and can be spaced up to 200 feet apart. The ASFS can perform as a standalone system or can be easily integrated into existing security systems (cameras, electro-optic, infrared), and acoustic and motion sensors to improve overall security system effectiveness and enhance situational awareness.
