CMDS test set
The Countermeasures Dispenser Tester is a self-contained, battery-powered flight-line tester. The CDT improves aircraft readiness by performing fast and reliable flight-line safety and functional checks of the countermeasures dispenser system.
BAE Systems Rokar produces CDTs that are compatible with each of the Air Force, Navy, and Army styles of countermeasures dispensers. They replace the AN/ALM-176 Stray Voltage Test Set, the AN/ALM¬177 Dispenser Test Set, and the Flight Line Payload Simulator. Flight-line tests are performed by installing a CDT into each dispenser on the aircraft. An alpha-numeric display provides the test results.
Two CDT units are contained in each carrying case, making a one-man-carry test set known as the Countermeasures Dispenser Test Set (CDTS).

For the ALE-47 countermeasures dispenser systems BAE Systems Rokar offers aircraft self-defense chaff and flare dispensing systems for combat aircraft including the F-15, F-16, F-4, F-5, Mirage, A-37, A-7, AMX, Harrier, and Mig-21; helicopters including the AH-64, CH-53, UH-60, Bell212/412, AH-1, Super Puma, Mi-17, and Mi-24/35; and transport aircraft including the C-130 and Boeing 707. Rokar's countermeasures systems are integrated with missile warning systems and radar warning receivers. The offerings include systems with up to 24 dispensers and unparalleled capabilities.
